Web development: websites, web apps and SaaS

We design and build websites and web apps, and we fix web apps built with AI tools so they are safe for real users. You own the code and the accounts.

Who it's for

  • Websites

A company or product website, designed and built for your content, that loads fast on phones.

Talk to us about a website
  • Redesigns

Your current site is slow, dated or hard to change. We rebuild it and plan redirects so existing links keep working.

Talk to us about a redesign
  • Web apps and SaaS

Customer portals, dashboards, booking and ordering systems, and SaaS products with sign-in, user roles and payments.

  • AI-built web apps that need hardening

Built with Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor or Claude Code? The Ship It audit and sprint cover web apps too, with no app store needed.

What you get

  • Design and build by one team, from the first sketch to launch.
  • Sign-in, user roles, payments (usually Stripe) and transactional email, set up and tested.
  • Security basics: access rules tested as the wrong user, secrets kept on the server, and backups.
  • Pages that load fast on phones, with the search basics in place: titles, descriptions, a sitemap and redirects.
  • The code in your repository, and hosting, domain and database accounts in your name.
  • A stack that fits the job, often React, Next.js, Vue or Laravel with PostgreSQL or MySQL.

How it works

  1. Step 1

    Talk

Tell us what you need and send anything you already have: a site, designs, a prototype or a list of ideas.

  2. Step 2

    Scope and price

You get a written scope, a timeline and a price before any build work starts.

  3. Step 3

    Design and build

We work in short cycles and you see progress on a test link, not only in reports.

  4. Step 4

    Launch

We launch on accounts in your name. After that, we can keep working on it with you, or hand it over.

Your accounts, your code.

  • Accounts stay in your name

Your GitHub, hosting, Supabase or Firebase, Stripe, and App Store and Play Store accounts stay yours. We are invited as collaborators.

  • No passwords or admin keys

You never send us passwords or admin keys. You add us to each account, and you can remove us at any time.

  • You keep the code

The code lives in your repository, not ours. If you stop working with us, there is nothing to hand back.

  • NDA first, if you want one

We are happy to sign your NDA before the audit.

Built your web app with an AI tool?

Lovable, Bolt, v0, Cursor and Claude Code get you to a working prototype fast. Before real users and real payments, it needs an engineer to check sign-in, data access, payments and hosting. That is what Ship It does, and it works the same for a web app with no app store involved.

See the security audit or book an audit for a web app.

Questions about web projects

How much does a website or web app cost?

It depends on what it needs to do. We give you a written scope and a price before any build work starts, so you can compare it with other quotes.

Who owns the code and the accounts?

You do. The code is in your repository, and the hosting, domain, database and payment accounts are in your name.

My app is a web app (for example a SaaS). Do I need the App Store part?

No. The same audit covers a web app with no app store involved. For a web app, the sprint covers sign-in, payments, hosting, speed and security instead of store submission. You get a fixed price for it with the audit report.

Taking over from another team: what we need from you, and what you keep

We start with an audit, the same as for any app, so you know what you have before you commit to more. We need access to the code (the repository, or a full export), and to the hosting, database, domain, payment and store accounts, or your help getting them back into your name. You keep the code and every account: we are added as collaborators and work inside your accounts. If the previous team still controls some of them, start with our checklist for getting your app back.

Do you build mobile apps too?

Yes. See mobile app development for iOS, Android and Flutter.
