How we work

Two paths, depending on where you start. If your app already works, Ship It takes it to production and into the stores. If you are starting from an idea, or the audit says rebuild, we scope and build a first version. Both end with the app live, on accounts you own.

Ship It: for an app that already works

Prices and what each part includes
  1. Step 1 of 4, 3 days

    Audit

You give us read-only access. We test security, data, payments, hosting and store readiness, then send a written report and a fixed quote.

  2. Step 2 of 4, 2 to 3 weeks

    Sprint

We fix the issues in priority order, set up staging, backups and error alerts, and build the iOS and Android apps. You get test builds every few days.

  3. Step 3 of 4, about 1 to 2 weeks

    Store

We prepare the listings, privacy answers and review notes, then submit. If Apple or Google push back on anything in our scope, we fix it and resubmit.

  4. Step 4 of 4, monthly, optional

    Care

We keep the app current with new OS versions, watch errors, and handle small changes. Or we hand everything over cleanly.

The audit is $490 and is credited in full against the sprint. Sprints start from $3,900, fixed after the audit. New Google Play personal accounts need 12 testers opted in for 14 days before an app can go public, so we plan for that from the first week.

On every project

  • You own everything. The code, hosting, database, Apple and Google accounts and store listings are in your name. We work inside your accounts, not ours.
  • Your NDA first. We are happy to sign your NDA before you share any details, and we start with read-only access.
  • Senior people. The engineers on your calls are the engineers doing the work.
  • You see progress on your phone. Test builds through TestFlight, Play internal testing or BetaDrop, every few days during a sprint.
  • Short written updates. One on each working day of a sprint, and a daily overlap for calls.

MVPs: for a first version

More on MVP development
  1. Step 1 of 4, about 1 week

    Scoping

We agree who it is for, what version one does, and what it won't do yet. You get a written scope, screen list and a fixed price.

  2. Step 2 of 4, typically 4 to 8 weeks

    Build

Two-week cycles. A test build on your phone every week, through TestFlight or BetaDrop.

  3. Step 3 of 4

    Launch

Store listings, review, and your first users.

  4. Step 4 of 4, monthly, optional

    Care

An optional monthly plan, or a clean handover.

The price is fixed, and set only after an audit or a scoping call. First versions start from $8,500.

Questions founders ask

Will you throw away what I built?

No. We keep what works and fix what is risky. Most apps need a focused sprint, not a rewrite. If a rebuild really is cheaper, the audit will say so and explain why, and the choice stays yours.

You are in India. How does that work with US time zones?

Well, mostly. We work while you sleep, so feedback you send in the evening is usually picked up by morning. We keep a daily overlap for calls, and you get a short written update on each working day of the sprint.

Can you guarantee Apple will approve the app?

No one can guarantee that, and you should be careful of anyone who does. What we do: prepare the app against the guidelines Apple most often uses to reject AI-built apps, write clear review notes, and if the rejection is about anything in our scope, fix it and resubmit without extra cost.

Is my code safe with you?

We start with read-only access and only ask for more when the sprint needs it. We are happy to sign your NDA before the audit. Keys we touch during the sprint are rotated before handover.
